Orders below 2kg will be delivered by either 1st Class or 2nd Class Royal Mail (depending on your selection at Checkout).
*Due to the COVID-19 situation, 1st Class Service is currently suspended until a reliable service resumes from Royal Mail due to staff shortages.

Orders above 2kg will be delivered by Courier Service usually on next day delivery and fully tracked.

Monday - Friday (CET)

  • All items ordered before 13.00pm are despatched out to Royal Mail or our Courier the same working day. 
  • All items ordered after 13.00pm will be despatched out to Royal Mail or our Courier the next working day.
  • All items ordered on a Friday after 13.00pm will be assigned to Royal Mail or our Courier on the Friday* and therefore will not be despatched until the Monday*.
  • All items ordered where 24hr Delivery is requested, must be ordered before 13:00pm in order to receive next day delivery*.
  • All items ordered on a Friday after 13:00pm where 1st Class Service is requested will be assigned to Royal Mail or our Courier on the Friday* and therefore will not be despatched until the Monday*

Weekends (GMT)

  • All items ordered on a Saturday or Sunday will be assigned to Royal Mail or our Courier on the following Monday*. 

*Excluding Bank Holidays, in which case it will be the next working day)

We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available or being delivered to the wrong address. 

All orders are despatched via Courier and are tracked for your added security.

Royal Mail

Royal Mail state the following in their Terms & Conditions:

2nd Class - we aim to deliver in two to three working days.

The Clay Cloth Company reserves the right to charge the full shipping fee applicable to resend if the item is returned to us as the customer was unable to take delivery of the parcel for any reason. Courier returned items will be added back into our stock and your account credited with the order total, minus the fee the courier charges us to deliver the item back to us. You will have to re-place the order to have the item reshipped. If a customer inputs any incorrect details on their order, which causes the parcel to be delivered incorrectly, we will not hold any responsibility for this parcel. If our Courier attempts delivery and the parcel cannot be delivered, a reattempt will take place. Following a further reattempt, the parcel will be destroyed. The Clay Cloth Company will not be responsible for destroyed parcels where the customer is not available to accept the parcel.

Delivery addresses MUST be registered with Royal Mail and MyHermes Courier. This is easily checked by visiting their website. Parcels WILL NOT be delivered if the postcode within the address does not appear in the available addresses when we book delivery. 

European & International

The Clay Cloth Company will ship internationally to many countries in Europe and the Rest of the World. Please ensure you have selected the correct country at Checkout. In some cases, depending on weight, your parcel may be shipped International Economy which can take 6-8 weeks. If you would like it sooner, please contact us so we can arrange a faster service and recover the additional funds to cover that faster service.

You should receive an email from us when your item(s) have been shipped. If you are in any doubt please contact us and we will be happy to check on the status of your order.
We regard our customers' privacy as one of our most important values. You do not have to create an account or register on this site with any personal details to be able to place an order. We do not keep any of your personal details on our site what so ever nor pass on any of your details. We believe our privacy policy should give you confidence whenever you use our services - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
